Bhota nagar panchayat recorded 70.66%, followed by 64.40% in Nadaun, 59.50% in Sujanpur and Hamirpur was at the bottom with 45.74% polling.
The polling will continue till 4.00 P.M and thereafter only CORONA POSITIVE cases would be allowed to cast their votes under proper SOP’s laid down by the central government.
At many polling stations of Hamirpur and Sujanpur, the voters complained that their names were missing from the voter lists though they had voted in the last assembly elections and the Lok sabha elections.
Not only this, voters were asked to provide identity proof for which no announcement was made by the State election commission earlier. As a result a number of voters had to return to their houses to come with the identity proofs to cast their votes and it was resented by all.
