Panjim, Sept 24 (GCNews) Former Deputy Minister and current Urban Development Minister Francis D’Souza is upset on being removed by the Chief Minister of Goa Manohar Parrikar in the current reshuffle in the Goa government announced today.
“I expected this. I was never taken into confidence for the last one-year on many affairs concerning government affairs. I was never even told about this decision of my removal from the Cabinet,” expressed a disappointed D’Souza in a telephonic conversation with GoaChronicle.com
The former Minister and one of the strongest Christian face of BJP in Goa for many years, stated, “I tried calling Parrikar yesterday but he did not reply to my calls. Today, we spoke and he told me that it is the BJP High Command decision not his. So now I will have to accept it.”
This morning Parrikar decide to remove Francis D’Souza and Pandurang Madkaikar front their ministerial posts and appoint Nilesh Cabral and Milind Naik instead.
