Mumbai, Sept 4 (UNI) India will begin their upcoming home series against West Indies with 2 Tests, 5 ODIs and 3 T20Is, the BCCI announced here on Tuesday.
“The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) announced the schedule for the forthcoming home series against West Indies set to be played from October 4 to November 11, BCCI secretary Amitabh Choudhary said in a release.
The first Test is slated to begin at Rajkot from October 4-8, while second will be played at Hyderabad from October 12-16.
The five-match ODI series starts on October 21 at Guwahati, second on October 24 in Indore, third will be held in Pune on October 27 and the final two ODIs will take place at Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram October 29 and November 1.
After ODIs three T20Is will also be played first at Kolkata on November 4, second at Lucknow November 6 and Chennai on November 11.
India who are currently playing 5-match Test series against England were defeated in the fourth Test at Southampton by 60 runs and also lost the series 1-3 will now play last match on September 7 at London.
