Puri, Oct 14 (IECurrentAffairs) India and Japan must work concertedly to minimise the devastation caused by natural calamities, Masayuki Taga, the consul general of Japan in Kolkata said.

Launching the IT training centre at the Japanese language centre of CS academy here on Sunday, organized jointly by the Techno India group, C S academy and Techno India varsity of West Bengal, Mr Masayuki Taga said while Japan is a Tsunami and earth quake-prone country India and Odisha are affected by cyclone and flood.

Learning Japanese language and IT would help students get jobs in Japan, said Kuna Dash, promoter of C S Academy.

Others who addressed the gathering on the occasion include Dr.Anit Adhikari of Techno India varsity, Hiroaki Kansuchi, Junichi Sato and Shinya Kubo from Japan.
