India to be ‘Guest Nation’ at Dubai Investment week

India will be the ‘guest nation’ of the upcoming fourth edition of the premier Dubai Investment Week (DIW) taking place from October 7 to 11 in the Dubai.

28 Indian projects worth USD 127.73 million were launched in the UAE in 2017. The projects -25 per cent the projects focused on retail and wholesale trade; 14.3 per cent focussed on accommodation and food services; 10.7 per cent on software publishers; 7.1 per cent educational services; and 7.1 per cent administration and support services.

Fahad Al Gergawi, CEO of Dubai FDI, said: “With its steadily growing reputation as a worldwide business hub and a preferred global destination for foreign direct investments (FDIs), the Dubai continues to attract investors’ interest thanks mainly to its strategic location, modern infrastructure, enabling business environment, and fully developed international business services value chain.
