New Delhi: With yet another sharp single day spike of more than 6,000 new coronavirus cases, India’s COVID tally surged to 1,45,380 on Tuesday morning.
It is the fifth consecutive day with over six thousand cases coming up in a period of 24 hours, this time the rise of 6,535.
Death toll across the country has reached 4167, after 146 more patients lost their battle against the pandemic since Monday.
The recovery front has witnessed a fresh improvement of 2770 cases, taking the cured and discharged COVID survivors to 60,491 pan India so far.
On Monday, India had joined the list of the top ten nations with maximum number of confirmed cases of the pandemic.
