India’s first three orbital mission takes off

Sriharikota, (Andhra Pradesh), Apr 1 (GCCurrentAffairs) India’s first three-orbital mission took off, when PSLV-C45 carrying the 436 kg EMISAT and 28 foreign satellites from four countries, lifted off from the Second Launch Pad at 0927 hrs at the  SHAR Range here on Monday.

After a perfect, 27-hour countdown, PSLV-C45, in its 47th mission, lifted  off as scheduled, belching orange fumes and with a rumble that shook the  earth.
