Is GPCC promising candidate tickets without AICC approval?

Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) president Subash Shirodkar and Chief Minister Digambar Kamat were immediately summoned to Delhi by All India Congress Committee (AICC) Goa In-Charge Jagmeet Singh Brar to take up the issue of defection of rival party members to the Congress party and commitment being made by GPCC to the incoming rival members on tickets or government jobs without consent from the party high command.

When spoke to Jagmeet Singh Brar this morning in a telephonic conversation, he reserved his response on the current state of affairs in Goa with regards to the defection of rival politicians to Congress, but, expressed that the high command will make a formal announcement on these new developments during his visit to Goa towards the end of this week.

However, sources in AICC have revealed to that the actions of the Chief Minister Digambar Kamat and Health Minister Vishwajeet Rane of luring rival politicians with promise for party ticket and government jobs for their constituency has not been taken well by the party high command; in light of the fact that many committed Congress members who have been toiling for the party for many years have more right to coveted party ticket than a politician who moves to Congress from a rival camp on account of a Congress ticket.

So far the party high command has not accepted BJP MLA Rajesh Patnekar into the Congress party officially; it will be left to be seem today on the decision taken by the party high command.

Many Congress members feel slighted by the actions of the Chief Minister and Vishwajeet Rane who are playing personal politics to increase their share of support for the CM and Deputy CM position at the cost of sacrificing the efforts of committed Congress members.
