Is Parrikar going to step down as Goa’s CM?

Owing to the on-going absence of the Chief Minister of Goa Manohar Parrikar on account of ill-health, the BJP Core Committee at the Centre will be meeting senior leaders of the BJP Goa Unit tomorrow to take a call on whether to ask Parrikar to step-down from his current political assignment in Goa.

Union Minister of Ayush Shripad Naik, BJP Goa President Vinay Tendulkar, South Goa Member of Parliament and Vice-President Sadanand Tanawade will be meeting with BJP President Amit Shah to discuss alternate arrangements to leadership in the absence of Parrikar.

“We will be meeting with our leadership in Delhi tomorrow about the arrangement of an alternate leadership in Parrikar’s absence. We have no knowledge about what the alternative arrangement is but something will be done,” expressed Union Minister and North Goa MP Shripad Naik to media.
