Is there a criminal offence on the part of guarantor if he/she is not able to repay a default on corporate loan?

 No it is not a Criminal Offense to be a Guarantor; the remedy available against you will be execution proceedings in a civil suit or arbitration of any other law in force for the purpose of recovery of default amount.
