Jharkhand: 12.89 pc average voter turnout recorded till 0900 hrs

Ranchi, Dec 12 (GCCurrentAffairs) An average voter turnout of 12.89 percent was recorded in the third phase of the elections in the state on 17 seats till 0900 hrs.

Among the constituencies Silli has witnessed maximum voter turnout at 16.35 percent while Dhanwar was the lowest at 7.57 percent.

Constituency wise voter turnout is as following: Koderma 10.20 percent, Barkatha 15.90 percent, Barhi 13.08 percent, Barkagaon 13.70 percent, Mandu 14.20 percent, Hazaribagh 10.27 percent, Simaria (SC) 13.77 percent, Dhanwar 7.57 percent, Gomia 13.02 percent, Bermo 12.75, Ramgarh 14.22 percent, Silli 16.35 percent, Khijri (ST) 16.25 percent, Ranchi 10.64 percent, Hatia 11.40 percent and Kanke (SC) 13.60 percent.

Voting on Ranchi, Hatia, Kanke, Ramgarh and Barkatha will continue till 1700 hrs while on the remaining seats it will be till 1500hrs.
