Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Governor, Arif Mohammed Khan and Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan have condoled the demise of Union Minister, Ram Vilas Paswan who died at a hospital in Delhi on Thursday.
In a message, the Governor said, “In a political career of five decades, he held the cause of the less privileged, close to heart. My heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family.”
In a message, the Chief Minister said, “Deeply saddened to learn of the passing away of Ram Vilas Paswan. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to his family and friends.”
“On behalf of the people of Kerala, I offer our deepest condolences”, the CM said.
Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala said, “Saddened to hear about demise of Ram Vilas Paswan. When I was serving as MP, I had the opportunity of working with him.”
“He was a text book to learn from, a dear friend and a profound leader who fought for the downtrodden relentlessly”, he added.
“Deeply saddened by the untimely demise of Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan. My prayers and condolences”, BJP State President, K Surendran said in a message last night.
