Soon after the declaration of Assembly election results in Karnataka, the Tourism Department of Kerala on Tuesday invited MLAs from the neighbouring state for a ‘safe stay’ in its beautiful resorts.
In an official tweet soon after the election results, the Kerala Tourism Department said, “After the rough and tumble of the #KarnatakaVerdict, we invite all the MLAs to unwind at the safe and beautiful resorts of God’s Own Country. #ComeOutAndPlay.”
The tweet was in the wake of Congress and JD(S) coming together to stake claim to form a Government in Karnataka following the declaration of the results.
The tweet came soon after the visit of political party leaders to Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala to claim the formation of a Government. It also sends a message that the stay in Kerala in the wake of the political developments could help them to give a slip from the horse trading in connection with the Government formation.
