Bengaluru: Karnataka Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi on Wednesday tendered his resignation after a video showing him in a compromising situation, surfaced in the media.
A social activist had on Tuesday lodged a complaint against the Minister for sexually harassing a woman. Later, the activist released CD’s in support of the allegation.
The Minister in a letter to Chief minister B S Yeddyurappa pleaded innocence and appealed to order for an inquiry into the charges made against him.
He also appealed the Chief minister to accept his resignation to the cabinet and expressed confidence to come out clean from the charges.
