New Delhi, Aug 28 (UNI) Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Tuesday accused the Modi government for denying him permission to visit Moscow to attend World Education Conference.
Taking to Micro blogging site, Twitter, Mr Sisodia said,”I was invited to speak about Delhi Education reforms at World Education Conference, Moscow. I was supposed to leave tonight but it’s unfortunate that Government of India has not given permission.”
The Deputy Chief Minister also claimed that his application has been under process for the last 10 days.
Lashing out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over denial of permission, Mr Sisodia blamed Mr Modi for not allowing Delhi’s education reforms to reach international platforms.
“Delhi’s education reforms have been getting international press coverage in past few months. It’s unfortunate that PM Modi doesn’t want this to reach int. platforms. Sir, Delhi is also part of India. If our schools get international recognition, it’s a matter of pride for India,” he stated.
