Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 26 (GCCurrentAffairs) Kerala Devaswom Minister Kadakampally Surendran on Tuesday said Bhumatha Brigade founder and activist Trupti Desai came to Kochi from Pune, a place which is considered as a stronghold of RSS and BJP.
Talking to newspersons here, the Minister, who suspects a conspiracy to sabotage the ongoing peaceful Sabarimala pilgrimage, asked how a particular news channel affiliated to a political party, came to know first the travel plans of Ms Desai.
When Trupti Desai reached the Kochi Airport, the channel telecasted live of her arrival informing that she will leave for Sabarimala via Kottayam.
But, she later reached the Kochi City Commissioner office where the channel was ready for the live streaming of chilli power attack led by a prominent Sangh Parivar leader on the activist and a lecturer at Kannur University Bindu Ammini in front of the Commissioner office.
Those who were behind the conspiracy now began ‘Nama Japam’ (a way of protest by chanting of Ayyappa Mantras), he said, adding the protest is aimed at obstructing the peaceful atmosphere of the Mandalam-Makaravilakku pilgrimage for pure political benefit.
