Missionaries of Charity Baby-Sale scandal: Fourth baby traced

The fourth child, confessed to be sold by Sister Conselia of the Missionaries of Charity-run Nirmal Hriday, was found yesterday, a day after a series of leaked video clips showed a senior nun of the shelter confessing to her involvement in the racket.

The six-month-old boy was taken into custody from his foster home in Chutia, Ranchi SSP Anish Gupta said. “Police have rescued him on the basis of Sister Comselia’s confession,” he added.

Sources revealed GoaChronicle.com that the baby was recovered from Majhiyama village under Chhatarpur thana of Palamau, around 200km from Ranchi.
