Thane: Union Minister of State for the Panchayati Raj, Kapil Patil, has declared that he would work towards fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dreams of India.
While talking to a section of media on Monday after taking over the office of the MoS, a new position created in the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Mr Patil said that he would ensure that the developmental programmes of the government reaches each and every corner and village of the country and to the end beneficiary in the country.
He further said that his priority would be all-round development of 2.79 lakh Gram Panchayats in the country, he said.
Under the Swamityva Yojana of Narendra Modi, each household will be given an independent property card, he said.
In this manner, the development plan for each of the village will be prepared and the villages developed, the MoS pointed.
The funds made available by the 15th Finance Commission will be utilized for development of the model villages at different levels of Zilla Parishad, Panchayat Samiti and Gram Panchayat levels, Mr Patil added.
