Bhopal, Mar 20 (GCCurrentAffairs) The unprecedented political crisis of epic proportions rocking Madhya Pradesh for approximately a fortnight climaxed on Friday afternoon with Chief Minister Kamal Nath putting in his papers to Governor Lalji Tandon at Raj Bhavan.
The seven-line-long letter goes thus, “In my four decades of public life, I have always involved myself in politics of purity and accorded weightage to democratic values. The happenings over the past couple of weeks in this state constitute a fresh chapter vis-à-vis devaluation of politics. I hereby tender my resignation from the position of Chief Minister. My best wishes to my successor who shall always receive my cooperation in the context of Madhya Pradesh’s development.”
