Aurangabad: Aurangabad Municipal administration has started preparations for administering corona vaccines which are likely to be made available January onwards by the government.
Planning instructions have been given to the administration accordingly, said Dr Nita Padalkar health officer of civic body.
The corona vaccine will be administered in two doses. Work is underway to fix a center for this and 100 people will be vaccinated against corona at one center.
Central and state governments are expected to make the corona vaccine available in January.Two doses of corona vaccine will be given at 28-day intervals.
In the first phase, the vaccine will be given to health officials and staff. The second phase will cover police, home guards and cleaners. She further said that instructions have been received to plan for corona vaccination, she added.
