Patna: BJP president J P Nadda on Sunday kicked off campaign for candidates of BJP and its allies in NDA for Bihar Assembly Elections and said that Nitish led NDA government had accelerated the pace of development of the state in last 15 years and it would further accelerate if NDA was given another chance to serve people of the state.
Mr Nadda while addressing a public meeting to launch a campaign of NDA for Bihar Assembly Elections here, said that Nitish Kumar government had performed well during the last 15 years to change the face of Bihar in all sectors.
It was time for people of Bihar to give their blessings to NDA in ongoing Bihar Assembly Elections for another term to serve the state, he added.
BJP president said that only four medical colleges had come up in Bihar during the last 70 years since independence. Only in a six-year period from 2014 to 2020, Bihar had got 14 medical colleges and 11 of them were in various stages of being established, he added.
Mr Nadda said that Nitish Kumar government had taken concrete steps to protect the lives of common men from deadly Corona pandemic. Poor and vulnerable section of the society were given financial assistance to enable them to fight Corona pandemic, he added.
