Nagpur: Cold wave swept Nagpur as the city recorded the coldest morning of the season so far at 8.6 degrees Celsius.
The city witnessed a steep dip of 4.9 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours.
According to India Meteorological Department, Vidarbha including Nagpur, would witness more decrease in minimum temperature in next couple of days and the Northerly winds is the main reason behind the drop in temperature.
Saturday night experienced the wind factor in all over Vidarbha region , said the Department.
In last 24 hours, weather condition remained dry across Vidarbha and no signs of clouds will be there till December 26.
The Department is also predicted increase in day temperature on December 26-27 due to presence of moisture in the atmosphere.
