NIA arrests medical student Abdul Rehman for links with ISIS
Bengaluru: The NIA officers had arrested a Medical student, who had recently written final year exams of Post Graduation, for allegedly having links with the Islamic State organisation, sources said on Tuesday.
According to official sources, the arrested person, identified as Abdul Rehman, was staying with his parents in a Posh locality in the city, had raided the house and taken him into custody.
The accused was later produced before the magistrate and taken into NIA custody, the sources said.
The arrested allegedly had association with five others who were arrested earlier by the NIA sleuths in Pune last year, the sources added.
