Manufacturer’s Association for Information Technology (MAIT) President Nitin Kunkolienker has been elected to the National Council of CII for the term 2018-19.
According to a state from Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) here on Monday, Mr Kunkolienker is currently President of MAIT, India’s top business association committed to mission Digital India – a initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The youngest and longest serving President of Goa Chamber – Goa’s premier business association, Mr Kunkolienker is also the President of Goa Management Association.
He is Member of Governing Council and Director of Electronic Sector Skill Development Council of India and a Member of High level Organizing Committee for Global Conference on Cyber space (GCCS ) which is headed by Union Minister for IT Ravishankar Prasad.
He is a member of Goa State Higher Education Council, headed by State Chief Minister and a Member of Regional Advisory Committee of Customs and Central Excise, Pune Zone.
He is also Vice President of Vidya Vikas Mandal and Chairman of Governing Council, G R Kare college of Law, Margao, Goa.
Winner of many prestigious awards like National Business Leadership award by Economic Growth Society of India in 2013, Goa management association’s ‘Best Manager of the Year’ award for the year 2001 , Mr. Kunkolienker has been a key speaker at Times Group’s Digital India Summit 2015 and 2016 and at Delhi Economic Conclave 2014 organized by Ministry Of Finance, the statement added.
