A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Goa unit official on Thursday said that there was no communication on the return of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar though he has been responding to treatment well and there has been improvement in his health condition over the last two months.
Responding to a question during a press conference, Goa BJP spokesman and South Goa MP Narendra Sawaikar said, “There is no communication from his side. Exact date has not been specified. It will depend on doctor’s advice. His condition is good.”
The Chief Minister is undergoing treatment in a hospital in the US for an ailment for the over last two months.
BJP Goa unit President Vinay Tendulkar had said last month Mr Parrikar was likely to come back to the state in the third week of May.
