Some members of the BJP Goa Core team were denied a meeting with BJP National President Amit Shah. GoaChronicle.com has learned through reliable sources within the BJP Goa Core team that Amit Shah asked the BJP members from Goa to come with the entire core team to discuss any strategic plans for Goa.
The members of the BJP Goa core team comprising of Union Minister Shripad Naik, South Goa MP Narinder Sawaikar, President of the Goa Unit Vinay Tendulkar and Vice-President Sadanand Tanawade were keen to meet with Amit Shah to discuss an alternate arrangement to the functioning of the Goa government in the absence of current Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.
Interestingly and rather strangely the four members of BJP Goa Core team were planning to meet the BJP National President without the consensus and presence of the other core team members.
Parrikar has flown to US for medical treatment yet again after being hospitalised at the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai last week.
GoaChronicle.com has also learned that Manohar Parrikar was not keen that the BJP leaders go and meet the BJP National President as he believes he will recover soon.
