No representation of Goa at meeting of CMs of BJP-ruled states due to illness

No one represented Goa at the meeting of Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states held in Delhi today.

Chief Minister of Goa Manohar Parrikar was undergoing treatment at the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai and is to fly to US today for further treatment. While senior Minister Francis D’Souza too is in the US undergoing treatment.

“No one from Goa attended the meeting of BJP chief ministers in Delhi today,” Goa BJP president Vinay Tendulkar told GoaChronicle.com

The meeting was held to strategise for upcoming elections to state assemblies and Lok Sabha.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, several Union ministers, party chief Amit Shah were present at the meeting which was attended by 14 of the 15 BJP chief ministers.
