Oppo focusing on video related features: Official

Ahmedabad, Jan 22 (GCBusiness) China based OPPO Mobile Telecommunications Corp, the third largest smartphone seller in India, on Wednesday stated that the company was focusing on the video related features as the trend of video sharing has become more popular among people especially youths.
Talking to mediapersons here, Product Manager of OPPO India, Kuldip Agrawal said that while the still pics features of camera was still the main focus, but due to changing trend and rise in video sharing over social media and apps like Tik Tok, the company was also working on various research and development (R & D) activities with regard to further improvement in video related features of the camera.
Mr Agrawal said that the company in its latest phone of F series, F-15, which was first launch in the year 2020 and was introduced in Gujarat market today itself, included various new video features also.
“OPPO has always attempted to enhance the photography experience for users. F15 has total five camera with four rear ones including a 48MP Ultra Wide-Angle Macro Quadcam, to deliver superior shots. Using its four-in-one-pixel combination technology, its 48MP rear camera sensors are designed to capture sharper images with greater detail,” he said.OPPO’s leading Anti-Shake Video which allows taking steady videos even when on a moving vehicle, he said.
Talking about OPPO’s India’s operation, he said that the company manufactured all its phones sold in India in its manufacturing plant near Noida. The company was currently third largest smartphone seller in India after Xiaomi and Samsung.
“Over the last few years, OPPO has increased its presence in the Gujarat market and witnessed a year-on-year growth of 129.22 pc in the western state and now holds a market share of 22.1 pc as of October last year,” he said.
Talking about the phone Agrwal said that F15 with just 7.9mm thickness and 172g weight, the device will be available for sale from January 24 across both online and offline stores at an exciting cost of INR 19,990.
