The Padeli-Guleli Bridge was thrown open for public on Friday which was the long pending demand of the people in Sattari taluka. With the opening of this bridge the distance between Padeli and Ponda has been reduced by 11 kms.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister said the Government is focusing on the development of poor people in the rural areas. He appealed the public to compare the progress of the ongoing government with earlier Government. Chief Minister complimented the work of Health Minister Vishwajit Rane and said he is keenly following the development process in Sattari and surrounding areas.
Extending full support to the health minister, Kamat said, because of his initiatives Goa Government has bagged various national awards in heath sector.
Speaking on the occasion Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said, he would endeavor to make Sattari a model taluka in the state. Focusing on the growth of Sattari taluka, Rane said Sattari has achieved remarkable progress. However, much has to be done, he added. He told people to remain united to achieve greater progress in socio-economic areas and added that people’s participation in development programme is necessary and called upon the people to extend their cooperation and support for progress.
