Reacting to the ban on Ram Sene’s entry into Goa – a decision taken by Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar which was relayed to the State Legislative Assembly – Pramod Muthalik, controversial leader of the Ram Sene in a telephonic conversation with GoaChronicle.com termed Parrikar as the Chief Minister of Bharatiya Jesus Party and not the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Muthalik further expressed, “I will bring Manohar Parrikar and his government down. He is playing politics of Christian appeasement over the real interests of the people of this nation – Hindu nation interests. He thinks by banning the entry of Shri Ram Sene into Goa, he has managed to win the Christian voters overs. He does not realize that the Christian-voters are a fickle lot. But I will bring Manohar Parrikar down”
On being questioned and what would be his next step following the ban, Muthalik stated, “I will be taking the matter to court. I am an Indian citizen and I have the right to move anywhere in this country and set my organisation. Parrikar cannot infringe on my fundamental right. I will also be raising the issue with the RSS leader Mohan Bhagwat.”
