Porvorim: Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Monday laid foundation stone for infrastructure work for a school complex near Panaji.
Parrikar, 63, who is suffering from pancreatic ailment formally opened the plaque of the infrastructural work project for a school complex near Panaji from his office at Porvorim.
“Chief Minster Manohar Parrikar laid foundation stone for infrastructure works of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Vidya Sankul at Cujira,” Chief Minister’s Office has said in a statement released here.
“The works will include creation of new access road, improved parking lot and sewage treatment plant. The ceremony was held at CM’s office at Secreteriat,” his office has said.
Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly Pramod Sawant, State Revenue Minister Rohan Khaunte, State Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho, State run Goa Infrastructure Development Corporation’s Chairman Deepak Prabhu Pawaskar, Vice Chairman Siddharth Kunkolienkar were present on the occasion.
The Chief minister also launched single window clearance system for State run Investment Promotion Board, which is a special purpose vehicle formed to attract industrial investment.
