Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Monday requested people to continue to bless him and allow him to take leave of few days.
In a video message before departing for Mumbai for further health check up, he said, “The way you have blessed me now, I hope your blessings will continue and hope that you will allow me to take a few days holiday. I want to thank all Goans. For the last 15 days, you prayed for me and because of your blessings, I have recovered and I am heading for Mumbai and if doctors advise in Mumbai, then to become fully well, I may be going abroad for a few days to cure my ailment.
Parrikar was rushed to a hospital in Mumbai on February 15, 2018, where he was treated for ‘mild pancreatitis’. He returned to Goa on February 22, 2018, and presented state budget for 2018-19 in the state assembly.
However, again he was admitted to Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC) for dehydration and low blood pressure on February 25, 2018, and was discharged on March 1, 2018. Since then he was recuperating at his private residence near the capital city.
