Panjim, November 30 (GCCurrentAffairs): Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar will meet State BJP MLAs and government officers tomorrow, on December 1, at his private residence, his office said.
Parrikar, 62, is currently recuperating at his private residence at Dona Paula, near here, since his discharge from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi on October 14.
“CM will first meet the officers and take stock of the governance in the morning followed by meeting with BJP MLAs and ministers of the party,” a senior Chief Minister’s Office official said.
He said that Parrikar is feeling better now and will follow up various files and works that are pending.
The Chief Minister had held State Cabinet meeting on October 31. He had also met the party officials next day.
Several NGOs and Opposition Congress party has begun mounting pressure demanding resignation of Parrikar on health grounds. RTI Activist Rajan Ghate had resorted to eleven day long Hunger Strike demanding restoration of Governance in the State.
