New Delhi, Oct 12 (GCNews) Chief Minister of Goa Manohar Parrikar will meet with ministers of the Goa Forward Party (GFP), Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) and Independent MLAs at the AIIMS hospital in New Delhi.
Vijai Sardesai representing GFP, Sudin Dhavlikar representing MGP, Rohan Khaunte, Govind Gawade and Prasad Gaonkar will be meeting Parrikar.
Parrikar is currently undergoing medical treatment at the AIIMS Hospital for pancreatic cancer.
“The alliance partners have been called for a meeting by the CM in Delhi today at AIIMS where he is admitted,” a senior official in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) here told PTI.
During the meeting, Parrikar would discuss “matters related to the state’s governance,” he said.
This would be the first formal meeting chaired by Parrikar since his admission to the AIIMS last month.
Highly placed sources said Parrikar is likely to distribute additional portfolios to his Cabinet ministers during this week.
