New Delhi, May 31(GCCurrentAffairs) Mr Piyush Goyal was on Friday allocated the Ministries of Railways and
Commerce and Industry, while Mr Nitin Jairam Gadkari was given the charge of Ministries of Road Transport and Highways, along with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
Mr Goyal earlier also held Railways portfolio when he was asked to head the Ministry in the previous Modi Cabinet on September 3, 2017. Commerce and Industry Ministry, which was previously looked after by Mr Suresh Prabhu, was now given to Mr Goyal.
Similarly, Mr Gadkari has been again given the charge of same Ministry which he held in the previous NDA regime that is Road, Transport and Highways.
Mansukh L Mandaviya has been given the Independent charge of Minister of State of the Shipping Ministry and has also been made Minister of State in the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
Angadi Suresh has been made Minister of State in the Ministry of Railways. This post was earlier held by Mr Manoj Sinha.
Mr Som Paraksh will be Minister of State in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
On Thursday, the Cabinet Ministers and Council of Ministers took oath at a ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
