New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tributes to the security force personnel and people of various nationalities killed in the Mumbai terror attack this day in 2008 and said India is now fighting terrorism in a ‘’new way’’ and with ‘’new policy.’’
Addressing the concluding session of 80th All India Presiding Officers Conference at Kevadia in Gujarat via video conferencing the Prime Minister lauded the efforts of the security forces who, he said, were constantly engaged in the nation’s security, foiling Mumbai-like conspiracies and confining terrorism to a small area.
”This day (26/11) is associated with the the biggest terror attack on India. In 2008 on this day terrorists from Pakistan attacked Mumbai. Many Indians and foreigners were killed in this attack. I pay tributes to all those killed in the Mumbai terror attack,” the Prime Minister said.
