Brasilia, Nov 13 (GCCurrentAffairs) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday reached here to attend the 11th BRICS summit hosted this time by Brazil.
This will be Mr Modi’s second visit to Brazil, after he took part in the BRICS summit in 2014.
The last BRICS summit was hosted by South Africa in January last.
The big emerging markets of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South AFrica (BRICS) have come along way since their first summit in 2009.
This year huge business delegations from all the BRICS countries are participating in the Business forum.
During the summit, the leaders are expected to discuss intra-group cooperation for the economic development of BRICS societies. This year’s theme is ‘economic growth and innovative furture for BRICS economies.
