Police Protecting Balli Carnage Perpetrators: Prakash

United Tribals Associations Alliance President Prakash Velip alleged that the police were protecting the perpetrators of the Balli carnage and pointed out that no arrest were made even though two weeks have passed since the incident.
Besides, he pointed out that the police have failed to arrest the main suspect Dipak Faldessai even though the District and Sessions Judge, South Goa rejected his anticipatory bail application.

He also pointed out that the other two suspects Prashant Faldessai and Narendra Faldessai were yet to be arrested by the police even though they had not filed any anticipatory bail application.
“The police inaction is really surprising particularly given the fact that Prashant did not turn up to the Crime Branch the second time he was summoned,” he said.
Police officials refused to comment on grounds that the investigations were still on and it would be premature to speak about it now.
