To celebrate the National Fire Service Day on 14th April, poster competition has been organized for children between the age group of 7 to 14 years. The theme for this year is ‘let’s work together for fire safe India’.
The competition will be held in two groups, the first comprising of children between 7 to 10 years and the second comprising children between 11 to 14 years. The topic for the first group will be ‘fire safety precautions taken by children’ and the second will be ‘fire safety and emergency precaution in schools’.
Children interested in participating in the competition shall report to the nearest fire station in their respective area on 9th April at 10.00 a.m. The time allotted for the competition will be 2 hours i.e. from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Drawing paper, pencil and crayons will be provided at the venue.
Participants will be judged on the basis of originality and appeal of the fire safety message conveyed through their drawing. Three prizes will be awarded in each group which will be presented on 14th April at 10.00 a.m. during the ceremonial function to be held at the Fire Force Headquarters, Panjim.
