The workshop aims at ensuring effective implementation of the RTI Act in the States of Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and Puduchery.
Sharing experience and discussion about the steps involved in effective implementation of the Act is the focus point of the workshop.
The Public Information Officers (PIOs) of RTI Act of all public sector organizations, representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) involved in creating awareness on the RTI Act, representatives of civil society organizations, journalists and any individual can present papers in the workshop. The papers should be written in English with not more than 2000 words and submitted before 12th September via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org for selection and final process. The selected papers would be presented in the workshop and prizes will be awarded.
