Punjab ACP dies of Coronavirus
Ludhiana: Ludhiana (North) Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Anil Kohli passed away here on Saturday, due to Novel Coronavirus.
Kohli was admitted in Satguru Partap Singh (SPS) hospital here, after his samples were tested positive for COVID-19 on April 13.
As his condition deteriorated a couple of days ago, the 52-year-old PPS officer was put on ventilator.
Hospital sources said the ACP died due to multiple organ failure before he could be administered the plasma therapy.
His five contacts, including his wife Kajal Kohli, his driver Prabhjot Singh, Jodhewal SHO Sub-Inspector Arshpreet Kaur, ASI Sukhdev Singh and District Mandi Officer Jasbir Kaur, had also contracted the virus and have been quarantined
