Punjab BKU: No politician would be allowed in farmers’ agitation

Badal (Muktsar): The Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) Ekta-Ugrahan on Monday said no politician would be allowed to join farmers protest against anti-farmers policies.

This was stated by BKU Ekta-Ugrahan General Secretary, Sukhdev Singh Kokari and State Secretary, Shingara Singh Mann while addressing the farmers.

Both the farmers’ leaders said, they have received reports that Ms Harsimrat Kaur Badal wants to join in in the protest. They said neither she nor any other politician would be allowed to join protestors at Badal.
Mr Kokari said his outfit along with Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee will jointly organise blockade of rail traffic for 48 hours from September 24 to 26 against Modi government’s anti-farmers policies and enacting of the Bill.
BKU Lakhowal General Secretary. Harinder Singh said. NDA government is bringing legislative measures to annihilate the traditional farming in the predominately agrarian states.
He said, 30 farmers organisations call of Punjab Bandh will teach a lesson to Modi Government as well as parties who supported Farm Ordinances, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’s Sanjay singh, Congress’ Rajeev Satav and CPI(M)’s K K Ragesh.
