Pushing state to democracy, BJP dreaming of building tallest towers: Kamat

Panaji: Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat has said that crushing the marginalised sector under huge financial burden, imposing projects without listening to peoples sentiments and pushing Goa in financial bankruptcy, BJP Government in Goa headed by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant was dreaming of building tall towers.

In a statement, Mr Kamat said,’The budget speech mentions of creating 11000 government Jobs. Surprisingly, the reply to my LAQ on total vacancies in Goa clearly states that there is no data available with the government with regards to vacancies in various departments as government has not undertaken any study or survey with regards to the same.’

‘The budget speech also mentions of 37,000 jobs through Investment Promotion Board. However, there is no information made available on how many projects cleared by IPB are actually operational in Goa and how many Goans are recruited there. There is nothing in the Budget on Economic Revival Plan, Helping Marginalised Sector.

This budget is like “Empty Vessel Makes More Noise,” the former Chief Minister said.
