Rahul Gandhi tells Parliament French President told him ‘No confidentiality’ in Rafaele deal

Congress President Rahul Gandhi accused India’s Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman of suppressing the truth while stating that there was a secrecy agreement between Indian and French governments.

Gandhi told Parliament that he had meet French President in New Delhi who had told him there is no such secrecy agreement with the Indian government.

The charge by Rahul Gandhi was strongly contested by members on the treasury benches who were on their feet to register their noisy protest.

The Speaker said she would give an opportunity to Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to answer the accusations.
