Rains lash several Parts of Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram: Rains lashed several parts of Kerala on Friday after the formation of a low pressure area over north Andaman Sea and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal.
Heavy (7- 11 cm in 24 hours) rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places in Kerala today, a MeT press release said.
Thunderstorm accompanied by moderate rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places in Kollam, Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad and kasargode districts for the next few hours, it added.
Rain or thundershower is most likely to occur at many places in Kerala till October 12.
