New Delhi, Dec 12 (GCCurrentAffairs) The second India-US 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue on Defence and Strategic matters will be held in Washington on December 18.
Announcing this at the weekly media briefing here on Thursday, MEA spokesman Raveesh Kumar said Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar will lead the Indian delegation.
“The India-US 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue was initiated in September 2018 in order to provide a positive and forward looking vision for the Indo-US Strategic partnership,” he said adding this was also aimed to promote synergy in relationship between two countries.
Since the start of the Dialogue, he said “Since the inaugural edition of the Dialogue, relationship between India and the US have further expended”.
The next round of 2+2 Dialogue will stock of these growing relations, he said.
