Ram temple: Diggy demands CBI action

Bhopal: Opening a second front and directing heavy fire at Premier Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Congress bigwig Digvijaya Singh on Monday alleged graft vis-à-vis Ram temple construction in Ayodhya and demanded that either the Central Bureau of Investigation or the Enforcement Directorate should step in.

“The Vishva Hindu Parishad has never provided donation-related details. Mr Adityanath must prevent such corruption. A Rs 18-crore agreement was executed for land worth only Rs 2 cr! The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust has VHP office-bearers and members nominated by Mr Modi. I had urged the Prime Minister not to constitute a fresh body but the matter has been politicised,” Madhya Pradesh’s erstwhile chief minister conveyed via social media.
