Remains of six people found in Hawaii’s tourist helicopter crash
Washington, Dec 28 (GCCurrentAffairs) Remains of six people were found after a tour helicopter crashed in Kauai, Hawaii, authorities said on Friday evening.
A total of seven people were on board. Officials said there were no signs of survivors.
According to Kauai Fire Department, the search for the seventh person was suspended due to fog. It will resume on Saturday.
On late Thursday, the ill-fated aircraft was touring Kauai’s rugged Napali coast when it faced showers and high gusts of wind. The operator, identified as Safari Helicopters, filled the missing complaint.
Many agencies such as the US Coast Guard, the US Navy and the Kauai Fire Department and others were involved in the search operation.
