Mumbai: The Rupee on Monday slipped by 26 paise at 74.36 in opening trade on rising demand for US Dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit was seen weak on the strong dollar against other world currencies amid negative stock market in opening trade, dealers said.
The rupee registered intra days high and low at 74.39 and 74.33 respectively, he added.
