Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar on Saturday cautioned the unemployed youth to be alert with regard to job fraudsters.
In a release here, Mr Sajjanar said we often see several unemployed youth paying huge cash to fraudsters for securing jobs in Government Services or Corporate Sector.
Taking advantage of the innocence of these unemployed youth, fraudsters float fictitious companies and give attractive advertisements to the press and attract the unemployed youth towards them and after collecting money as caution deposit/security deposit they dupe them.
The Commissioner said the Cyberabad Crime Police is receiving several complaints with regard to work from home job offer frauds.
In order to prevent Job frauds, it is intended to create awareness among unemployed youth who are posting their bio-data in Job portal websites.
While quoting some job frauds cases like fake job VISA for employment abroad, training and employment in the same company and Employment abroad, Data warehousing works, employment fraud in Railways Recruitment, employment in reputed PSUs and private companies, Mr Sajjanar said the unemployed youth should check up with the concerned department for the genuineness of the appointment order/interview call letter and remember that all the examinations are purely based on merit.
He advised not to accept any job offer calls unless thoroughly verified, not to register in any of the suspecting websites mentioned by the fraudsters, not to login to any of the website links that fraudsters send and not to pay money towards registration charges.
Before accepting any job, the unemployed youth must verify and know the genuineness of the person who is offering the job, the Police Commissioner said whoever asks to pay money for job offers, it will be a fake one and their words are not to be believed.
“If you suspect any fraudsters, report to Cyberabad Cyber Crimes Police by dialling 9490617310 or call by Whatsapp number 9490617444”, Mr Sajjanar added.
